In "Silverton in Winter" the mighty 480 class engines tackle a mantle of dazzling white. 481 digs in for a run over the high line and up the Animas Canyon to Teft Spur. "Rotaries on Cumbres" features the two rotaries the Rio Grande kept ready on each side of the Pass and the world's only narrow gauge spreader. See all three of these unique pieces of equipment, the only surviving narrow gauge snow fighting tools anywhere, as they bore through the drifts from the Chama side of the Pass. 25 minutes
